Today I had to drop off the van to get checked over, a few last minute fixes before the big off. As Bennetts Bongos is in Stafford, I decided to take the bike along so I could get out for a ride while they did the necessary work.
Just took some country lanes out the back of Hixon and ended up in Uttoxeter for lunch, then back again. Was great to feel a bit of sun on my face and get some Spring fresh air. The daffs were stood to attention, the lambs were feeding with waggling tails in the air, the birds with chirping to their hearts content. Nature seemed in a happier mood, and I think we all feel it too.
Van fixed and the countdown continues… 2 weeks!
